So we're cleaning up the house a bit before we put it on the market. To make room we decided to put some stuff in storage which meant we had to rent a storage unit. I don't know why but the idea of renting a storage unit really made me happy and I have to say that I love our new storage unit. It's like a second home for me now and I'm taking great pleasure in driving car loads of crap there.

Unit #27 is a beautiful piece of real estate complete with corrugated metal walls and a concrete floors. It's a stones throw from Rt. 6 in Connecticut and the sunset views are spectacular. According to the rental agreement I signed, I am not permitted to sleep in or attempt to live out of the storage unit but let's see them try to stop me. I'm thinking I might bring a mini fridge down and maybe a pool table but we'll see.
In other news, it was a good week so we decided to celebrate a bit. I picked up a few lobsters for the family to feast on. Wyatt and Abby were quite taken with the lobsters so I took them out for a race before we chowed down.

File these next photos under the new category of, "Things I see on my Travels". The first shot is of a UPS driver sleeping in his truck in the middle of the day. Perhaps he was taking a "union 5" but I thought it was odd for a driver to just sleep in his running truck in a 7-11 parking lot. What can Brown do for you? They can sleep in the broad daylight while inhaling a constant stream of the fumes coming from their own trucks.

This next one is even better. I was stopped at a light by the Buckland Hills Mall the other day when I caught sight of this smooth gentleman. For seemingly no reason at all, this guy was walking down the street wearing a flight helmet. I'm not talking about a bike helmet or something like that. This dude was wearing a full on Top Gun type of deal. He had a grocery bag in one hand and a window fan in the other. Shine on you crazy diamond!
